	Devil's Backbone ____________________ 2009, 53" x 10" Larimer County Visual Artist 2008 Fabric collage Depicts 3 vignettes of this vast stone silhouette, most striking as the last “up thrust” of the foothills of the front range of the Rocky Mountains, near Loveland, CO. My geologist dad  fostered my intrigue for these “hogbacks”.

Patternings ____________________ 2009, 40" x 36" Fabric collage These “no-tan” trees are a stylized depiction of the forest’s various seasons. I played with these trees---earlier auditioned for background  for the SURVIVOR quilt (pictured above)---where they seemed  frivolous.
